I totally disagree with your first tip that the biggest company has the lowest prices because they advertise on TV. The reason they can afford to advertise is because they charge the highest premiums in the state. You don’t choose a brand. Looking into health insurance can be confusing. At least in my home state, the largest individual health insurance carrier their premiums for LESS benefits are 15-30% higher than the other major medical carriers in the state. That’s why you do need someone to answer your questions, show you multiple options and let the consumer decide for themselves.
